Arabic Content Writer

We are looking for an Arabic Content Writer to interpret English content deliverables into Arabic, making sure to maintain their original meaning, format and tone.

The Arabic Content Writer’s responsibilities include reading and thoroughly understanding the context of given material, using specialized dictionaries and translation tools and proofreading finished pieces of work. To be successful in this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and be fluent in Arabic and English.

Ultimately, you will provide ready-to-use translated content that meets our internal needs.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Read given material and research industry-specific terminology

• Ensure translated content conveys original meaning and tone

• Cross-reference specialized dictionaries and translation tools to check the quality of translation

• Proofread translated texts for grammar, spelling and punctuation accuracy

• Follow up with internal team members and clients to ensure translation meets their needs

• Edit content with an eye toward maintaining its original format (e.g. font and structure)

• Proven work experience as a Translator, Interpreter or similar role

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

• Good knowledge of content editing tools

• Fluent in Arabic and English

Experience and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Interpreting or similar field

• 3 to 5 years of experience working in the field

• Knowledge of Saudi Arabia’s economy, business environment, government landscape and Vision 2030 programs is a plus
