We’re looking to hire an Associate Director to help us develop engaging, creative, and high-quality strategic communications services for our clients in the private and public sectors.


As an Associate Director at Global Think Group (GTG), you will play a central role in delivering innovative strategies for high-profile projects that make a real difference.


You will lead impactful communication campaigns, collaborate with top-tier clients, and influence critical decisions. You will combine strategic leadership with hands-on execution, working on initiatives that shape perceptions and drive change at scale.

Job requirements


Primary Duties & Responsibilities


  • Direct the development of integrated communications strategies, providing strategic guidance to clients and internal teams
  • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to clients, providing guidance on reputation management, crisis communications, and stakeholder engagement
  • Oversee and manage multiple client accounts, ensuring exceptional service delivery and achievement of KPIs
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration between internal teams, including creative, digital and content to execute integrated campaigns
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring trust, satisfaction, and long-term partnership
  • Actively contribute to business development efforts by drafting proposals and participating in pitches
  • Monitor industry trends and provide clients with insights and innovative approaches to communications challenges
  • Assist with managing project budgets and ensure resource efficiency
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment


Required skills


  • 8 to 10 years of experience in strategic communications or related fields
  • A proven track record in managing high-profile client accounts providing senior clients with clear, confident, and well-informed strategic counsel while under pressure and delivering measurable results
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and guide teams
  • Highly organized with a proven ability to effectively project-manage teams – including managing client expectations against budgets / results
  • A deep understanding of traditional and digital media landscapes, with established networks and stakeholder relationships
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex ideas into actionable insights
  • Experience in business development, including proposal development
  • Ambitious while being a team player with strong sense of ownership and the desire to develop and grow both yourself and your team


Experience and Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business, economics, international affairs, politics, or a related field; Master’s degree is preferred
  • Knowledge of Saudi Arabia’s economy, business environment, government landscape and Vision 2030 programs is a plus
